Shops

Shopping with us is another way to support our work, helping us reach more people in crisis.

‘‘The Trussell Trust shop is so much more than a charity shop: it gives me a reason to get up in the morning.” – Volunteer

Our shops are designed to do more than just raise funds. Each shop aims to become a hub of the local community.

Through our shops, we do more than simply offer affordable goods for people on low incomes; we also lend a sympathetic ear for people in emotional distress, and create volunteering opportunities for everyone (including people with mental, social or physical difficulties). Our community shops can also serve as a distribution point for emergency food available to people in crisis through a local foodbank.

As well as our physical shops, we also have an online presence. Please visit our Amazon, Ebay and Etsy online stores to support our work.

Donations are always needed!

Without your donated goods, our shops would be bare. Could you donate items that you no longer need to benefit our work?

Example of items you could donate:

  • Good quality clothes, shoes, belts, bags, hats and jewellery
  • Bric-a-brac
  • Books, DVDs and CDs (we are unable to accept video tapes)
  • Toys, puzzles, games
  • Working electrical goods (all TVs must be digital compatible)
  • Good quality furniture.

Donations, collections & deliveries

If you are donating items of furniture we may be able to collect them from you.

If you have bought a large item from us and would like it delivered, we have a delivery service with charges starting at £7.50.
