Harvest Trussell Tables
Turn your trestle table into a Trussell Table this Harvest.
As well as being a time of celebration and gratitude, Harvest is an opportunity for your church to support people from all backgrounds, especially those experiencing hardship.
There’s a strong link between hunger and social isolation. Hosting a Trussell Table is all about connection, inclusion and community.
Trestle tables are often used in many ways across the life of a church community, particularly to share food. We invite you to turn your trestle tables into a “Trussell table” as part of your Harvest celebrations, as well as inspiring your congregation and guests to use their collective voice to call for change.

How to host a Trussell Table
We know how busy church life can be so there are three options depending on how much time you have available for your Harvest celebration:
15 minutes
prepare a food bank collection table
1-2 hours
prepare a shared Harvest meal for your church community
4-5 hours
host an afternoon of shared cooking and eating
