Harvest Festival
Help food banks support people facing hardship this harvest.
Harvest is traditionally a time of year when local communities held a festival of thanksgiving, celebrating the harvest and food grown on the land. More recently it is a time when schools, churches and other community groups come together with generous hearts to donate food and other essential items to people facing hunger and poverty in their local community.
We need your support this harvest
As we approach this autumn, many people and families are worrying about the increasing pressure of the cost of living crisis. This, alongside rising energy bills, is pushing more people through the doors of food banks and we expect the number of people needing support to continue to increase.

That’s why this year it is even more vital that we come together at harvest to donate food and other items to local food banks, but also to really think about the situations that are taking place in our communities and how we can all help. Join with the Trussell Trust to have your very own harvest festival, with a food collection to support our network of food banks, as well as call for change so that everyone can afford life’s essentials.
This harvest help us support our communities and provide emergency food and practical advice to people struggling to afford the essentials in life.
