London to Paris Cycle
June and September 2018
Cycling from London to Paris is one of the great cycle experiences in Europe. Riding through picturesque Kent countryside, we cross the Channel and continue through the small villages and medieval market towns of Northern France, passing many War Cemeteries.
With long days in the saddle and some strenuous hill-climbs, the sight of the Eiffel Tower, our finishing point, will evoke a real sense of achievement.
Our last day in Paris allows us to explore the sights and soak up the romantic atmosphere of this majestic city!
June and August 2018
The small Buddhist Kingdom of Bhutan lies in the soaring peaks and green forested valleys of the eastern Himalayas. Isolated from the world for centuries, it is famously protective of its traditional, sacred heritage. Access to most of the country is restricted, though any trekker making the effort to travel to this remote mountainous region will receive a warm welcome.
Our trek follows the classic Druk Path between Paro and Thimpu, taking in unforgettable views of snowcapped Himalayan peaks, dense rhododendron forest and clear mountain lakes, as we trek through scenic green valleys and over high passes. The cultural discovery, rewarding trekking and magnificent landscapes make a winning combination.
London Marathon Walk
23 September 2017
Our walking route takes us around the well-known names from the game, from Old Kent Road to Mayfair, Kings Cross Station to Whitehall. En route we take in many of London’s world-famous sights including Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, the London Eye and the Tower of London as we trace our challenging route through the heart of the historic city.
This is an enjoyable and rewarding way to explore our capital city, but be prepared for a long, tough one-day event! Are you ready to pass Go?
Land’s End to John O’Groats Cycle
June and September 2018
Starting at Land’s End on the south-westerly tip of England, we pedal our way through Cornwall, over Dartmoor and north along the Welsh border, skirting the Lake District into Scotland, via lochs and the Highlands to the North Coast and John O’Groats.
In all we will cover roughly 1,000 miles, passing through some of the most stunning and remote countryside in the British Isles. This is a tough challenge but a fabulous way to see the country, and one of the most rewarding things you will ever do!
