As the Coronavirus pandemic develops, more people than ever may need the help of their local food bank. Last year the food banks in the Trussell Trust network provided 1.6 million three-day emergency food supplies to people in crisis and over 500,000 of these went to children.

The Trussell Trust is working closely with the food banks to support them in any way they need so that those most vulnerable to the impacts of poverty and isolation can survive these months of crisis, as well as working in the longer term to address the underlying reasons why people experience severe financial hardship.

Help food banks provide an essential community service and ensure that people in crisis can access support safely during these uncertain times
