With 11 shops (2 online) your main responsibility will be to cover for shop managers and shop assistants as required, taking on these full responsibilities. In this role you will optimise retail income by ensuring that all of Charity Retail’s shops and the warehouse are effectively supervised to a high standard following clear direction from the Senior team (mainly the Retail Area Manager).
Charity retail shops are centred around the wider local community with their own objectives; developing skills, knowledge, awareness, and confidence, which in turn focuses on our primary aim of raising vital funds to help end the need for foodbanks in the UK.
Additionally, you will be responsible for the relieving the duties of the Retail Area Manager and the Health & Safety/Facilities manager in times of absence. This role requires you to adapt to change at short notice, be very flexible, positive, confident, and dynamic in your approach.
