Individual Giving Manager

The Trussell Trust is about to embark on a five year investment into donor recruitment and cultivation.  Working with an external marketing agency, this will involve a range of media and creative testing to develop a proposition that will attract new financial supporters to the charity.

“More than Food” Project Assistant

The Trussell Trust’s More Than Food project aims to see more foodbanks becoming community hubs, giving people emergency food and a wide range of support all in one location. We are looking for a project assistant to join the team to help make this happen.

Are you interested in a practical hands-on way of helping people improve their cookery skills make their food budget go further? The Eat Well Spend Less course has been developed and trialled in the Salisbury foodbank and is being rolled out across at least 28 foodbanks by the end of 2015 with more to follow during 2016. The MTF project assistant will provide practical help in the rollout of EWSL and administrative support for EWSL and other MTF initiatives that are underway.

“More than Food” Project Coodinator

The Trussell Trust’s More Than Food project aims to see more foodbanks becoming community hubs, giving people emergency food and a wide range of support all in one location, providing help either directly or in partnership with other organisations. We are looking for a project co-ordinator to join the team.

Are you interested in helping to address the underlying causes of poverty in the UK? As More Than Food  Project Co-ordinator you would be involved with the  planning, implementation and evaluation of various More than Food initiatives such as “Financial triage & Debt Advice” to deal with the causes of clients’ problems, helping to run pilot studies, produce guidelines and operating manuals and then helping with the roll-out of these initiatives across the foodbank network.

Salisbury Community Money Advice Centre Co-ordinator

The Trussell Trust runs a wide range of projects locally and nationally to challenge poverty, meet needs and transform lives. Working in conjunction with the national charity Community Money Advice, we are opening a debt advice and money management centre in Salisbury and we are recruiting a co-ordinator to run that project.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is interested in meeting needs by helping people to regain control of their finances and deal with their debts, whilst being part of a new project within a well-established national charity.  The successful candidate will receive training and support and will help to shape the future direction of the debt advice project.

More than Food Co-ordinator, Holiday Meals project

A key role in the Trussell Trust’s “More Than Food” project which improves the range and quality of services offered to foodbank clients as part of our vision to help to address the underlying causes of poverty in the UK. Reporting to the More Than Food Project Manager and working in conjunction with the wider foodbank network team, the More than Food Holiday Meals project co-ordinator develops and then facilitates the introduction of the Holiday Meals project which aims to help children at times of the year when free school meals are unavailable. Summer 2015 will be spent gathering information on, and evaluating, existing provision of this sort of service within the foodbank network and beyond. In late 2015 / early 2016 a pilot study will be run in several foodbanks, and the full holiday meals service will be offered through the foodbank network Summer 2016 onwards.
