Would you like to be part of the Media and External Affairs team behind one of the UK’s highest-profile charities? The Trussell Trust operates the country’s largest network of foodbanks, so we’re often called to comment on topical issues and on food poverty, shining a light on its root causes to raise awareness amongst the public, politicians and the media. That means there’s always a lot going on, so we’re looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated intern with a genuine interest in PR & comms to support the team - in return for invaluable experience in a lively and hard-working, externally-focused department.
Download the role description for more information. To apply, please complete the application form and equal opportunities monitoring form (optional) and send them, together with a current CV and covering letter explaining why you believe you would be suitable for the role, to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than midday on Monday 17 August 2015. Interviews will be held in the week beginning 24 August 2015.
Do you want to be involved in one of the fastest growing charities in the UK? Are you looking for an opportunity to use your initiative, develop new skills and have the chance to grow? Why not make a Trussell Trust internship your next step after uni? There won't be much time for making tea...!
We provide a range of internships lasting between 6 and 12 months, and whether you’re interested in frontline service provision or honing your marketing, finance or fundraising skills, we'll have something for you.

‘Being a Trussell Trust intern gave me the experience of the third sector that I needed to start a career in this field. There’s a friendly atmosphere and I was gradually given more responsibility over the year. You know that everything you do is helping a great cause.’
