Foodbank Network Regional Development Officer: West Midlands

Full-time (37.5 hours per week) 

The Trussell Trust operates the largest and highest-profile network of foodbanks in the UK, and right now we’re looking for a talented individual to inspire, direct, and target its development in the West Midlands. Resourceful, energetic, and with a gift for motivating those around them, the successful candidate will combine an aptitude for thinking large-scale with a keen eye for detail. With substantial experience of working closely with local communities, they will be passionate about tackling poverty and hardship in the UK.

Foodbank Network Manager, Scotland

As we start work on the next phase of our strategy to provide support to people in crisis, we’re looking for a talented individual to take responsibility for the network’s development across Scotland. Innovative, proactive, and with the ability to think strategically on a large scale, the successful candidate will be passionate about the work of the Trust and committed to tackling poverty and hardship all over the UK. With a particular focus on the issues affecting Scotland, they will be confident communicating the Trust’s vision with articulacy and conviction, and equipped with the experience and determination to inspire the same passion in others.

Grants Fundraiser

20 hours per week

The Trussell Trust works hard to combat poverty and exclusion in the UK: we operate the country’s largest network of foodbanks as well as numerous community projects and social enterprises across the south west. In order to support our regional and national growth we’re in need of a skilled grants fundraiser to identify diverse sources of funding to meet both core operational and project costs. Resourceful, driven, and pro-active, the successful candidate will be motivated by the challenge and ideals of the third sector and passionate about tackling food poverty.

PR & Communications Assistant (paid internship)

Would you like to be part of the PR & communications team behind one of the UK’s highest-profile charities? The Trussell Trust operates the country’s largest network of foodbanks, so we’re often called to comment on topical issues and raise awareness of the food poverty debate at a national level. That means there’s always a lot going on, so we’re looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated intern with a genuine interest in PR & comms to support the team - in return for invaluable experience in a lively and hard-working, externally-focused department.
