Sorting

This is one of the most fun areas to work in... Plenty of coffee and lots of chat accompanies the work of sorting through a mountain of donated goods. You never know what will be in the next bag - a diamond ring or a pair of false teeth! (We haven't found either as yet, but come very close!)

Very little goes to waste, if it is not good enough to sell we can normally find a recycling opportunity.

With scrap copper now worth over £3,500 a tonne, we recycle what we can!

There are up to 30 volunteering opportunities for varied ages and abilities a week in the sorting bay at the Recycling Centre.
