Lipnitza School
Inadequate Government funding makes it almost impossible to successfully run residential state schools in Bulgaria. With many of the pupils coming from the marginalised Roma communities, these children are forgotten by the State as well as their families.
We are working in partnership with our local school/orphanage at Lipnitza to turn around conditions there and provide the children with the care they need.
Since entering Lipnitza School for 6-16 year olds in 1997 we have helped to improve conditions significantly. The building stands almost completely transformed from the state we found it in: 'Before and After' gallery.
