Goats
Goats are great because they are a self-sufficient source of milk and meat. We introduced 5 goats into Scravena and Lipnitza communities. Each female kid born was passed to another family - now every family has a goat!
This project was such a success that we no longer need to give these communities goats - thank you to all who helped us to provide the first goats!
Giving a goat saved Baby Tatiana's life. She was so malnourished and weak that she was in danger of dying. Her family could not
afford the additional food and care that she needed. A goat provided the milk and nutrition that Tatiana needed to make a full
recovery.
